Description
Depicting the greatest driver to never win the drivers world championship, this signed, limited edition print by Tony Smith shows the wonderfull Stirling at the head of a world class field.
The print is numbered 183/600 and is signed by the Tony Smith, the painter of the original artwork that this print is taken from.
The subject matter of the print shows Stirling in his Vanwall at the 1957 Pescara Grand Prix leading Luigi Musso in the number 34 Ferrari, who would later retire with an oil leak, and the great Juan Manuel Fangio in his number 2 Maserati.
Stirling would stay head of the Maserati crossing the line after 18 laps in first place.
